About Me

My Story
My name is Josh Golden and I am the founder of Pilgrims Path, a nonprofit ministry created to walk alongside individuals and families affected by addiction with clarity, conviction, and Christ-centered care.
With seven years of hands-on experience serving in a residential men’s drug and alcohol ministry, I have worked directly with men in the trenches of addiction and recovery. That time shaped both my understanding of the complexity of addiction and my burden to see people placed in programs truly suited to their specific needs, not one-size-fits-all solutions that too often fail.
Pilgrims Path exists to provide guidance and advocacy at every step of the recovery process; from helping individuals find appropriate treatment programs, to offering court advocacy, to equipping families through biblically grounded classes designed to bring wisdom, stability, and hope into difficult situations. I believe recovery is not only about sobriety, but about restoration; spiritually, relationally, and practically.
Above all, my deepest desire is to see individuals come to know Jesus Christ, to be transformed by the gospel, and to live lives free from addiction to the glory of Christ. My work is rooted in the conviction that real, lasting freedom is possible; and worth pursuing with truth, perseverance, and grace.
